No-Bake Carob Cookies are made with carob powder, oats, and peanut butter, creating a wholesome treat. These cookies align with sattvic principles, making them suitable for offering as prasadam.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brown or regular sugar
  • ½ cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ cup carob powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups oats

Instructions

Cook the Base

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, oil, and carob powder.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture just begins to boil.

Add Flavorings
3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and peanut butter until smooth.

Combine with Oats
4. Gradually stir in the oats until fully combined.

Form Cookies
5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and allow to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
