  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  2. Add Water:
    • Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, whisking until you achieve a smooth, lump-free batter.

Prepare Filling:

  1. Prepare Spinach:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach with cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Frying Pakoras:

  1. Heat Oil:
    • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Dip and Fry:
    • Dip the seasoned spinach in the batter and coat evenly.
    • Carefully drop the batter-coated spinach into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Drain and Serve:
    • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with chutney of your choice!
